Happy Halloween! Ok, I have never liked anything super scary, so family Halloween parties centered around kids is definitely more my style. We wanted to do something fun for all of the cousins for Halloween, so we put together this super simple yet super fun party!
I got basically all of the decorations from Walmart. Super cheap and easy to set up. My cute niece had a Harry Potter birthday in September and wanted to reuse her cool bottles to make a "Potions" bar. She did such a great job putting it together! We did homemade Root Beer in the cauldron with the classic dry ice to make it feel a little more spooky:)
We love a good party game and boy we had fun with these!
Nana had coloring pages as well as cookie decorating stuff on the kitchen table for those who wanted something to do while everyone sat around and talked.
We asked everyone to wear their Halloween costumes so we could do a little runway and vote for our favorites. It was so much fun! Some people wore family costumes, others had individual costumes. The kids loved showing theirs off and having everyone cheer for them!
While we were all outside we played some pumpkin bowling. We took water bottles and lined them up like bowling pins. Then, we took small pumpkins and took turns rolling the pumpkins down the sports court to try and knock down as many water bottles as possible. It was harder than we thought! Those pumpkins rolled and bounced all over the place!
We end the night by playing our family's traditional game of "Grandma Bingo". My husband's grandma is famous for her bingo games and awesome bingo prizes. She was so cute calling out all the cards and the kids loved getting their prizes.
